Payton Vaughn’s trip to Puerto Vallarta for her friend's wedding was her big escape from her ridiculously overbearing mother–oh, and that little matter with her cheating fiancĂ©. Now, her flight's been cancelled, and she's crammed into a tiny car with the gorgeous-but-irritating best man.

Viva la road trip from hell...

Cruz Sorensen doesn't have time to babysit some spoiled socialite, even if she is the future daughter-in-law of the man who could change the fortune of his family's company. He has no business getting to know her better—not even for all the tequila in Mexico...until they wake up with grande-sized hangovers as man and wife.

Now Payton and Cruz must decide if they've reached the end of their journey...or the beginning of a new adventure.

My Review:

Her Accidental Husband was such a fun and entertaining book to read. It is the perfect book to read on the road as it gives the vibes of the perfect road trip.

When Payton Vaughn finds herself traveling alone to her friend's wedding to Mexico, she never expected to find out that her so-called-fiance was cheating on her while she was away. Confused and without knowing what to do, she does the only thing that she could at the moment and that was to cancel her wedding. The wedding that her overbearing mother had been all over is now over, and with nothing to go back to Payton decides to move on. But that all soon changes when she finds out that her friend has sent her new brother-in-law, Cruz Sorensen, to watch over Payton on their way to Mexico without letting Payton know. Now she has to deal with Cruz and her mother, and that's when events starts to take off in the book. After having her flight cancelled, Payton and Cruz decide to get to Mexico by car and that soon leads to events that would end up bringing them closer.

On the other hand, Cruz Sorensen has done everything in his power to provide for his family. Yet he still has a deal to close with a very prominent client, but soon his plans change when get embarks on an adventure that could potentially change his life. After spending time with Payton, and the closer they got, Cruz wakes up one morning married to a very confused Payton. Without knowing what to do they go on pretending that nothing happens, which that soon ends up changing.

One of the things that I liked the most about the book was the characters, they both have pasts and people that they want to get their approval of, but that is what makes them understand each other. Their adventure on their way to Mexico is hilarious and sweet. From the things that they do, to the things that just brought them closer. Though the pace of the book was a bit slow at the beginning, things slowly started to escalate, which made the book that much more enjoyable to read. Overall, if you're looking for a story that mixes adventure along with romance then this is the book for you. I highly recommend it. :)
