My Review:

Forever Now is the story of two individuals struggling to find their way in life, but together they are able to help each other see the light.

Elise Sax presents readers with a story full of hope, dreams, and new beginnings. I found myself completely in love with the characters, and with the story itself. From the very start, we meet Tess, a sixteen year-old girl who is already in her senior year of high school. Tess, like any other girl, has ambitions that go beyond just going to college. She is smart, and loves writing. One of her biggest dreams is to study in France, where a lot of her favorite writes are from, and she envisions herself becoming one of them. But aside from having those dreams and hope, she struggles at home. Her mother brings boyfriend, after boyfriend to their house, and it's gotten to the point that Tess feels trapped inside her very own house. Nothing would have prepared her for what was heading her way the minute she finds her mom packing to go to Mexico with one of her “boyfriends” for a couple of months. Alone, and without money, Tess has to find a way to survive on her own. But that soon changes when Cruz, (the son of her mom's boyfriend) decides to help her out while their parents are gone.

As an aspiring model, eighteen year-old Cruz is willing to do anything to get what he wants. He has had a fair share of struggles to keep him fighting, and the minute his dad kicks him out of their house, he finds himself drawn to Tess's home. When he first saw her, he saw something in her that he can't seem to erase from his mind, and now he is willing to do anything to keep her safe until she graduates from school. But when a series of events come his way, he'll have to decide if postponing his career might just be worth it to make sure Tess's dreams come true. So, there are a lot of things about this book that I really liked, and enjoyed reading. First of all, the chemistry between the characters is instant, and we are able to see that as the story progressed on its own. Then Tess's new best friend comes into the picture, and changes everything. To Tess, her new friend becomes a miracle to have around. But there are also twists and turns in the story that one wouldn't expect to happen, and that's what I liked about the story. It had me guessing throughout the book, and the secrets start to grow all the way until the end. There were a couple of things that were not answered in the book though, and I'm really hoping those get cleared out in the following books of the series. Overall, the story line was great, it was very well-written, and the romance between the characters was spot on. I highly recommend this book, you will no regret it. :)
